Introducing Baby Emma!!

Knowing that we are only weeks away from baby Emma arriving, Michael and I decided to hurry up and try to get a 3-D/4-D ultrasound. We were hoping to try to get a sneak peak of what she might look like upon her arrival. With me already being 34 weeks pregnant, this was the last week we would have the opportunity to do it, so we made our appointment and hoped for the best.

Our first attempt was unsuccessful (ironically it was unsuccessful with Ava also because she had her feet in her face!), Emma had cord in her face and she was so limited on space there was no way to get a clear picture. So after about 20 minutes of the technician pushing and prodding on my belly trying to get her to move, we decided to reschedule.

Saturday morning, we returned. This time, the cord wasn't in her face anymore - but her hands were! She moved a little bit for us so that we could get some side profile views of her - but they still aren't crystal clear! However, we were able to see a little bit of what she looks like! She looks like she has super chubby cheeks - just like Ava looked! She actually looks very similar to Ava in her ultrasound pictures...we'll see what happens after she makes her debut.

Even though the pictures weren't as "clear" as we had hoped, it is still amazing that they can get any sort of glimpse as to what she looks like. Technology is amazing. We are so excited to meet baby Emma (and I'm so done being pregnant), but for now we will have to settle with some pictures of what life is like on the inside! Enjoy.
